iOS game Katamary Amore launches on 29th September, Namco Bandai has announced.

As with previous games in the quirky series, you play as the Prince, rolling up anything and everything to create the largest possible katamari.

Katamari Amore features 24 missions and four modes: Story, Time Attack, Exact Size Challenge and Eternal Mode. There's even an extra Pac-Man level.

You can control the game using a virtual control pad (double or single) or Accelerometer. Expect content to be added to the game over time.

A freemium version of Amore will be available on iPad and iPhone, but you can unlock the full version for $4 at launch.
