Sony God of War dev working on new IP
Open world experience "a plus".
God of War developer Sony Santa Monica is working on an "unannounced new IP".
A job advert on Gamasutra for a senior level designer said "experience in designing or contributing to the development of an open world game is a plus". No other clues were given.
Is this the PlayStation Move game that Sony Santa Monica was reported to be working on earlier this month? That demo showed showed a floating hand touching and manipulating objects in a forest.
Forest Fumble?
Since the release of God of War 3, Sony Santa Monica has been helping out God of War: Ghost of Sparta, God of War: Origins Collection and Starhawk.

Then we can see him get the Nemean Cestus and take on some other mythological enemies and maybe even hear about him being jealous of his Spartan half brother.

"I hope its in the same Genre tho, no one makes a hack n slash quite like them in my eyes. "
Bayonetta, DMC1 & 3, and Ninja Gaiden are all way better, more technical games in this genre. God of War is all graphics and gloss. Looks nice, but the fighting is extremely mashy and lacking technicality.

No. It's developed by demoscene group Plastic, with tech support from Santa Monica. Seriously, I'm not supposed to do your job, Robert.
