FIFA 12! Resi: CV! Ico Collection!

EA Sports' annual football giant FIFA 12 lands this week for every platform under the sun. Versions for 3DS, DS, PC, PS2, PS3, PSP, Wii and Xbox 360 arrive in an otherwise quiet week for retail releases, as other titles stay clear of the beautiful game.

The only other retail launch likely to trouble it (and it still won't) in the UK charts is Ico & The Shadow of the Colossus Collection HD, which collects Team Ico's twin PS2 classics and updates them for launch on PlayStation 3. Behind the scenes videos and other extras are also included on the disc.

Battlefield 3's beta begins tomorrow for Medal of Honor owners with codes from the Limited and Tier One editions. The trial phase rolls out to everyone 48 hours later - that's Thursday 29th.

Away from shop shelves, a new version of Worms is available to download. It's 3D though. Worms Ultimate Mayhem arrives for Steam and XBLA this week alongside elemental puzzler Mercury Hg (a liquid-ape version of Super Monkey Ball) on PSN and XBLA.

There's also a Game of Thrones tie-in for PC and X-Men Destiny, made by Too Human and Eternal Darkness developer Silicon Knights.

Nintendo fans get DSiWare launch Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition for free - up to four players can Link up and play. Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins is set to appear on 3DS Virtual Console, while yet another Harvest Moon title rises on DS - Grand Bazaar.

And on your phones this week: Katamari Amore for iOS and block-building phenomenon Minecraft for Android.

Chart Predictions!

Each week one of the team attempts to predict the future - in this case, what next week's top five games will be in the UK all-formats chart. The following predictions are for the week beginning Friday, 30th September, to be reported the following Monday.

Johnny Minkley, Editor, Eurogamer TV.

"Gears of War 3 stormed to number one this week as the fastest-selling game of 2011 by a country mile. Coming on a million different formats, FIFA 12 will destroy that figure to net its usual top spot. It's worth noting that, while the excellent F1 did very well this week, its launch was well down on F1 2010's opening numbers - but I still expect it to make third on the grid comfortably. Finally, this may be more heart than head, but Sony's wonderful HD remakes of Ico and Shadow of the Colossus deserve to make an impact."

  1. FIFA 12
  2. Gears of War 3
  3. F1 2011
  4. Zumba Fitness
  5. Ico and Shadow of the Colossus Collection

Last week, Eurogamer News Editor Wesley Yin-Poole had a stab. How did he do, fair reader? Cast your eyes below.

Position The Truth The Prediction Result
1 Gears of War 3 Gears of War 3 YES!
2 F1 2011 F1 2011 YES!
3 Dead Island Dead Island YES!

Your Chart Predictions!

Last week we surveyed your minds with the question of where Supremacy MMA would chart. As it turns out, it did not make the top 40 chart this week at all - thus 21 per cent of you who forsaw this very thing are completely correct. The majority, who expected a placing between 11th and 25th, were utterly wrong. For shame!

Can you redeem yourselves this week? We know where FIFA 12 will place. But...
