Dead Nation DLC announced
Roads of Devastation coming soon.
Downloadable zombie shooter Dead Nation will be expanded via upcoming DLC pack Road of Devastation, developer Housemarque has announced.
The additional levels are set after the events of Dead Nation and add at least three new areas.
The DLC supplements the game's bestiary of zombie types and adds more weapons to players' arsenal.
A release date and price have yet to be announced.
Dead Nation's top-down co-op combat was unleashed upon PSN last December. Since then, Housemarque reports over 11,700,000,000 in-game zombies have been slain.
Eurogamer branded Dead Nation with a festering 6/10, courtesy of reviewer Dan Whitehead:
"Dead Nation is guilty only of being a decent game with few pretensions and even fewer ambitions, never attempting to improve or advance the clichés it so readily deploys," Dan wrote in Eurogamer's Dead Nation review.

It's just the thing when you come home in a foul mood and want to see lots and lots of things bleed.
Now if you will excuse me, there's a nice doctor here holding a lovely strappy white jacket that does up at the back that he says he wants me to try on.

Like the above, I enjoyed it for a while, but by the end it was just too much of a grind through the same thing time and again.

I was surprised Housemarque patched it to make it easier, tbh. I didn't think it warranted a hand-holding patch, especially after the deliciously brutal Super Stardust HD.
I will be buying this if the price is under $5.

Loved this game when I got it free for the sony hack and will without a doubt buy the dlc seeing as I got the main game free

All weapons had their uses depending on your situation (well, apart from the shotgun maybe) - the shocker had to be fully upgraded to be truly devastating though

I'm in anyway, I love Dead Nation.
