D&D: Daggerdale dev closes - report
Bedlam "effectively shuttered last month".
Bedlam Games, the developer behind recent action RPG Dungeons & Dragons: Daggerdale, is in the process of closing down, according to a Joystiq report.
An anonymous Twitter tipster first broke the news, claiming, "Bedlam Games - the studio formed by ex-R* Toronto blokes after The Warriors - laid off most of its staff and effectively shuttered last month."
A source close to Joystiq then confirmed that around 90 per cent of staff are currently on "temporary layoffs," and, as yet, have received no severance pay.
Daggerdale, released on PC, PSN and XBLA back in May, was the studio's only released title.
We're seeking official confirmation and will update when we have more.

I think they were hoping that the name sells it.
Well looks like it didn't

It is sad people have lost their jobs. But well... Daggerdale was one of the worst things I've played this year, if not in many years, so as bad as I feel for the individuals - it is offset by the joy that we won't see them make any more D&D games.

I'm pretty sure DnD Daggerdale never released on PS3.

In any case this is sorry news, the studio had potential as they got many elements right with Daggerdale but the majority wrong, releasing a broken game is unforgivable.

@Peejam
Well they've said for the past month or so now that the patch was sent to MS for verification and considering the increasing amount of refunds this game has been getting (That's right people have actually been getting MSP refunds on this game, apparent;y you can only do this once per year) that they'd have hurried and verified it. My guess is it never reached them to begin with
