Windows 8 will have an App Store

It'll never catch on.

Microsoft plans to build an App store into Windows 8.

That was one of the feature teams name-checked during a MSDN (Microsoft Developer Network) blog post about "Introducing the team".

There are 35 separate teams collaborating to build the next generation of Windows, and each of those teams can comprise "anywhere from 25-40 developers, plus test and program management", wrote Windows President Steven Sinofsky.

Other Windows 8 feature teams that caught our eye were Human Interaction Platform (Kinect?) and Graphics Platform (DirectX?).
