Cenarion Hatchling nets £1m for tsunami
World of Warcraft fans do their bit.
Sales of World of Warcraft Cenarion Hatchling pet have raised over a million pounds for the Japan tsunami and earthquake relief fund, Blizzard has announced.
For every Cenarion Hatchling bought by 31st July 2011, 100 per cent of the $10 adoption fee went to assist victims of the disaster.
"Thanks again for your support and for helping to make an impact on the lives of those affected by these events," Blizzard said in a statement.

This stigma was partially negated by the fact that the proceeds went to the tsunami victims, and made it easier to justify the purchase of such novelty/vanity items. Dont know if they sell as much with the other items that dont support anything but the players vanity and blizzards coffers.
