More Mario, Kirby for 3DS Ambassadors

Reward scheme reveals GBA titles.

Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 and Kirby & the Amazing Mirror have joined Nintendo's growing list of GBA games it will give to existing 3DS owners.

The latest two titles, confirmed by NintendoWorldReport, are part of a list of 20 free games that form a part of the company's peace-making 3DS Ambassador programme.

As Nintendo prepare to price-drop the 3DS, the Ambassador programme is Nintendo's offering for early adopters who've already shelled out the extra cash.

"Although we may not be able to completely prevent you from regretting purchasing Nintendo 3DS early, we would like to express our gratitude to our special customers like you," Nintendo stated, announcing the Ambassador programme last week.

Ten Game Boy Advance and ten NES titles will be made available free via download. Already confirmed: Yoshi's Island: Super Mario Advance 3, Mario Kart: Super Circuit, Metroid Fusion, WarioWare, Inc.: Mega Microgames, and Mario vs. Donkey Kong on GBA.

These GBA game downloads will be exclusive to 3DS Ambassador Programme members - Nintendo has no plans to release them to anyone else.

The ten NES titles will include Super Mario Bros., Donkey Kong Jr., Balloon Fight, Ice Climber and The Legend of Zelda.

Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3 is an updated GBA port of excellent NES title Super Mario Bros. 3. It's the first game to feature Bowser's red hair. Kirby & The Amazing Mirror is a well-recieved maze-like platformer released on GBA in 2004.

Nintendo's 3DS, soon to be a third off.
