Poison, Yoshimitsu in SF x Tekken

Dhalsim and Steve, too.

Capcom has announced four additions to the Street Fighter x Tekken roster.

Poison is a brawler of ambiguous gender lifted from the Final Fight series. Dhalsim will, of course, meditate and destroy you.

From Tekken we get Yoshimitsu, a robotic samurai who has appeared in crossover fighting games in the past. The less said about British boxer Steve Fox the better, really.

The quartet joins Ryu, Kazuya, Ken, Nina, Guile, King, Abel, Marduk, Cammy, Bob, Chun-Li, Julia, Sagat, Hwoarang, Haggar, Hugo, Cody and Guy on the already bulging roster of playable fighters.

inFamous' Cole MacGrath is a bonus character for the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions.

    Street Fighter x Tekken x Final Fight now?

    Why not just call it Capcom x Namco and be done with it!

    PixelPirate - Street Fighter and Final Fight have always been linked ever since Final Fight was originally called Street Fighter 89. Hugo, Poison, Cody and Guy have all appeared in a ton of Street Fighter games (Alpha, SF3 and SF4 series).

    lol Poison, she really doesn' belong with the Street Fighter crowd, I doubt she's even a match for Dan story-wise.

    Anyone not familar with Poison, I'll tell you now. It's a trap.

    Is Poison actually a man, though? I thought that rumour just came from online confusion in refrerence to Poison being replaced by male thugs in the SNES version of Final Fight.

    Besides it's hard to believe anyone would have bothered to write a trans-gender back story, or any story, for a basic enemy in a side-scroller. What's the point? They could have at least added facial stubble, a man's voice or some male feature - at least some clue since I doubt anyone actually thought 'hmm - is Haggar piledriving a man or a woman there'?

    I think Poison's gender is ambiguous because they didn't like the idea of Haggar and co. punching women in the face.

    Apparently it's fine to punch a transexual though ...

    @sega I know i was being sarcastic ;-)

    Capcom constantly chuck other fighters in their SF games, it just seems as if "Street Fighter x Tekken" should be the core of each franchise, pitted against each other. Otherwise, rename it like their other mixed up fighter games such as Marvel vs Capcom.

    I'm pretty sure it's only Final Fight characters that have crossed over into Street Fighter from another series. :p

    Actually, I don't think it's Poison's gender that's ambiguous at all. It's her sex that's ambiguous.

    @KujiGhost
    Definitely Yoshimitsu's best design of all the Tekkens.

    Is the image scroller broken for anyone else? After a few they don't align properly sideways, so you end up looking at half of one and half of the next.

    @Mr_Wizard

    Yes, this for me and other galleries have been broken for the past few days now.
