Punch-Out!! dev behind Luigi's Mansion 2
Next Level Games gets more work.
Luigi's Mansion 2 won't be a first party title, Nintendo has confirmed. Wii Punch-Out!! studio Next Level Games is at the helm.
As revealed at a Nintendo round-table event at E3 today, Super Mario Galaxy director Yoshiaki Koizumi is taking on an advisory role for the in-development 3DS sequel.
The Canadian studio did sterling work on the 8/10-rated Punch-Out!! update, as well as the excellent Mario Strikers Charged back in 2007.
The original GameCube version of Luigi's Mansion was developed internally at Nintendo by Super Mario Kart director Hideki Konno.

I don't know what you do for a living RABicle but I guess you wouldn't like someone highlighting all your little mistakes online!
Fred is only human. Try being a little less smug and a little more understanding!

In theory, at least, this encourages the author to be more diligent in their fact checking. It's win-win.
Back to the article, I think the game is in safe hands. Mario Strikers Charged was my favourite wii game - which no, before some wag comments, is not like picking my favourite method of suicide

Also while I'm pretty critical of stuff like this as well, posting a correction in comments section is fine. Whining and putting it on a blog is hilariously petty. And during a really information heavy period like E3 where news and PR releases are piling in. Mistakes are going to be more common when copy has to be quickly written up and posted up.
