Why is there a loader in there full stop?
That's been done in the film. No need to reuse set pieces.

Was so hyped about this, but the screenies and videos I've seen this week, well, they look a bit ropey to me.

This is just setting up to be a disaster. I don't think you'd be able to do justice to the Aliens film as they seem to be attempting. Don't get me wrong, I want this to be a huge hit but I'm saving myself for disappointment.

I think one of the major problems is that games have been doing dark corridor shooters for years, and this needs to bring a pretty fresh take to do it's name justice.

Nearly every space corridor shooter ever released owes something to the alien films. If anything gearbox shouldn't change a thing. Corridor shooting has come home to it's rightful place.

As long as they nail the gameplay and story then great. The graphics look pretty cool, love the power loader and queen alien image.

Yep so while you are looking at the controller you will get easily killed by the aliens, while the rest of us just look at the HUD on screen, and have much more fun :) ... just doesnt work in reality.

As for the screenshots and small teaser, there is something that doesnt look right with the game, like its cheap/tacky.... hope i'm wrong...but its not looking as good as i expected.

Gambit actually has a point - looking down at a motion sensor is actually a brilliant idea, instead of having it immediately in front of you.

That's what I mean. Will the sensor on the controllerscreen make the game easier? No. Will it make it more fun and scary? Heck yeah!

I once heard a guy who got so scared while playing AvP, he pulled off his headset and threw it to the ground when he got attacked by a Facehugger. :D
