Battlefield 3, SSX and NFS bonuses

As part of its ongoing E3 press conference, Sony has announced a range of PS3-exclusive bonuses for upcoming EA titles.

The PS3 version of Battlefield 3 will be "bigger than any other," said Sony US boss Jack Tretton. He revealed that the additional storage of Blu-ray meant EA would bundle a free copy of Battlefield 1943 with the game when it ships in October.

"It's one of the most exciting games of the year bundled free with one of the most popular PSN games," Tretton added.

Meanwhile, Need For Speed: The Run will come with seven additional supercars, and the reboot of SSX will feature Mount Fuji as an exclusive playable location on PS3.

If that PS3 exclusive Battlefield 3 stuff is more than just 1943 bundled with it, (which I already have on XBLA) I'll be sad.

Why 1943 lol yes it was a great game but it's 2 years old now! Up for the extra cars and an extra location in ssx though (cant wait to play ssx!!!)

The logic behind the BF bundle is beyond me. I mean, how many gamers are going to be all "oh, I got this brand new BF3 with its awesome multiplayer, but I am going to play the two year old downloadable multiplayer-only game instead, because I got it for free"?
BF1943 may be great downloadable game, its just BF3 should be that much better (unless they fail big time, in which case BF1943 wont save the day anyway).

I was worried when I read the headline of the article, but after seeing what the exclusive content actually is I really don't care. This might be worthwhile for a small number of PS3 users overall this extra DLC is pretty small fry.

BF1943 is a great game and there's still plenty of folks who won't have played it. If I had a PS3 (which I don't) and didn't have BF1943 (which I do) I'd be v happy about this. Stop complaining.

Agreed with the shitty tendency of platform holders to place importance on additional exclusives contents for the multi platform games.

I m still going to buy the online game based on my friends list which is X360, even though its more superior on PC and also featuring less contents than PS3. I aint going to play on platform which doesnt have my friends who I regularly play with.

Bog off Sony, EA, MS etc for trying to fleece extra customs via the cheap shot of 'Ya here we got extras that is NOW not available on the other platforms!! Ya boo sucks!'

So will PS3 Battlefield 3 actually be bigger, have more stuff or is it just bundled with 1943?
Sounds like slightly misleading wording there.
