Ubisoft announces Tintin tie-in

2.5D platformer for comic hero.

Ubiosft has announced a game tie-in for Steven Spielberg's forthcoming Tintin: Secret of the Unicorn movie.

A trailer shown during the publisher's E3 show today featured a mix of 2.5D platforming sections and 3D vehicle stages which see the titular comic book hero commandeering a bi-plane and motorbike.

To progress through the platforming levels you'll need to switch between Tintin, his canine sidekick Snowy and Captain Haddock to take advantage of each character's unique abilities.

Although based on the film, the game will apparently expand on its story.

No platforms or release date mentioned but expect it to drop at around the same time as the movie's 23rd December launch.
