Buggerations. Was hoping this would be multiplatform. Oh well, will just have to endure the DualShock3 I guess.

Wow, it looks a lot better than Dust 513.

I wonder if this has anything to do with Microsoft and their utterly bullshit way of thinking about MMO's on console.

Edit: yes i'm aware Dust isn't an MMO, i'm talking about it's connection to EVE.

Well, the PS3 branding doesn't have to mean it's an exclusive. So here's still hoping that it'll go multiformat.

    Please be good.

I've always wanted to get into the EVE universe, but my attention span (and free time) limits me to games like this hehe.

If exclusive then hopefully a timed one. The more the merrier! (also means that Eve players have more selection of active groups.)

By the way, there is a counter on the Dust 514 website. Info time!

Not surprising, given how Microsoft tend to behave toward smaller online IPs. It was extremely unlikely DUST 514 would be given the kind of cross-platform viability it needs to work on the 360, soo...

Besides CCP already said Microsoft were giving them trouble a while back >.> Not that the game wouldn't benefit from the XBox crowd and all, but if past behaviour's anything to go by ..

Also, pretty sure they're not CGI. We've seen a few gameplay trailers with those graphics by now, and CCP have a history of rendering their trailers using their games' engine, including for DUST itself. At most there's perhaps some post-effects in there, but that's kinda doubtful knowing the developer. For instance: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ejX0Rym0NZw - All rendered using the Carbon engine under EVE and Incarna. ... Which I think DUST's also using?

Looks good but also looks like a PC version with the crisp visuals but who knows... either way I'll be picking this up!

Nice sense of scale between macro and micro, good atmosphere, lightning, texturing, aggressive design... I so want to play this!
