Amazon confirms 8th November launch.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 hits UK shelves on 8th November, according to an Amazon listing.

If true, that confirms reports from Eurogamer sources published last week.

Activision finally took the lid off its forthcoming FPS sequel over the weekend, following a massive leak on Friday that dumped full plot and gameplay details on the internet.

A number of trailers have since surfaced, which you can check out below.

November will be a hell of month to most wallets, with Battlefield 3, MW3, Skyrrim and Uncharted 3 amongst others so close each one from the others. Personally, MW3 isn't in my "must have" list. Even if I would like to play the game, the multiplayer from BF3 and the single player from Skyrrim will be too absorbing to let a chance to the poor new COD.

MW3 will see the return of Task Force 141 Captain John "Soap" MacTavish and SAS Captain John Price! Call of Duty games have always had a great cast, weaponry and perks, I'm sure MW3 will continue that line. To think that Activision has slated Modern Warfare 3 for a November 8, 2011 release.
