THQ halts PSN/XBLA Saints Row: Drive By

THQ has halted work on Saints Row: Drive By, a downloadable spin-off for PSN and XBLA.

"We are not developing Saints Row: Drive By," a THQ rep told Joystiq.

Also, THQ creative manager Scott Rogers has the game listed as "cancelled" on his LinkedIn profile (spotted by Meristation).

Will this impact the 3DS version of Saints Row: Drive By, Saints Row 3D? THQ had "no further comment at this time".

THQ core games boss Danny Bilson explained last year that Drive By and 3D were companion titles both designed "to sell Saints Row 3", which is due this Winter.

"I believe [Saints Row 3D] will do great," Bilson added, "especially if Nintendo is going to go mature and really do a big mature campaign on it. It's a killer game."
