Fruit Ninja heading for Kinect?

Ratings listing outs 360 take on iOS hit.

A Kinect-enabled version of Fruit Ninja is on its way to Xbox 360, if a new ratings board listing is to be believed.

As spotted by Siliconera, Korea's Game Ratings Board has classified something called Fruit Ninja Kinect.

For those unfamiliar with the original game, it's a simple smartphone title that focusses on slicing up fruit by swiping across the touch screen.

Despite receiving a bit of a hammering from Eurogamer's Kristan Reed when it was released last year, the Halfbrick-developed title has been a massive success, selling 20 million units across all mobile platforms.

There's everyone worried about the impact of 59p apps. But thank god for them, without them there would be no new Kinnect games.

Hardly a bit of a hammering. Yes it got a 5/10, but Kristan highlighted its plus points and didn't even suggest it was unplayable or anything like that. As we've been told many, many times before (by EG staff no less), 5/10 is average. So not a hammering then.

So it's better than Mafia II?

Joking aside. It could be a fun 2 minute diversion like the iPhone version. I'm not dragging the kinect upstairs so I can play it on the shitter like I do with the iPhone version. I wouldn't want to pay more than .59p either.

Sigh, I paid £129 for this? Fruit fucking Ninja?!

Seriously, some good software better show up soon for that fucking dust collector or it's gonna end up on EBay.

Fruit Ninja is very good, especially on the iPad. Could be good for Kinect but I would be concerned over reaction time.

    If it's 400 points I'll get it.

Why the question mark in the title? It's mentioned in the ratings board listing for crying out loud. Of course it's heading for Kinect.

Why did you buy a device if you didn't think there were any interesting games for it?

Oh noes! Not the EBay!!! Microsoft do something, or he's gonna call the Ebay on you! And send some cleaning lady to his house, it's dirty!

This could actually be quite fun for a few mins, as long as it's priced appropriately. Like Septimus said, 400 points and I'm in.

400ms points versus 59p versus free (Android)?

I have the droid version and it gets pretty boring after 2 minutes.

Can't see this one doing well, but then again I couldn't see the Kinect selling at €150.
