Are they? Most of this art didn't even make it into the game.
That said, I'm very annoyed with the spoilerrific marketing of this title. The very first thing they do in the first press article ever is tell you GLaDOS is alive - we were all pretty sure, but doubt and speculation is healthy. Then they released extensive footage of the game's first level(s). The shorts were good, though, as were the brief introductions to new puzzle elements.

Funnily enough when Portal was still quite new I was telling her about this great puzzle game she might like and her response of "I'm in that game!" completely confused me.

@Softie2K - I wouldn't say there are any spoilers, unless you have literally read nothing about the game at all. Even then, concept art can be taken to mean anything. Most of the concepts would have been rejected anyway, cos it's all part of an iterative process.
I am salivating at the thought of receiving Portal 2 next week. Good news - its on a Bank Holiday meaning I can play all day (girlfirend permitting). Bad news - its on a Bank Holiday meaning my postie won't be delivering. Nooooooooo!

I met her a few years ago in Amsterdam. Her voice acting stuff was one of the first things we talked about. I've bought a bunch of the games she did voice work for. I think she was also originally the voice for Zoe from L4D but they switched to another voice actress when the project expanded/moved inside Valve.
