Guitar Hero gets Paramore tracks, more

Last of the announced DLC on sale now.

Today Activision releases the last of the announced Guitar Hero: Warriors of Rock downloadable tracks for the PlayStation 3, Wii and Xbox 360.

The 10 new tracks are organised into three track packs.

The Emo Edge Track Pack includes "Ignorance" and "That's What You Get" by Paramore, and "Across 5 Oceans" and "Hey Superstar" by Madina Lake. It costs 440 Microsoft Points on Xbox 360, $5.49 for PlayStation 3, or 550 Wii Points. You can buy the songs as singles for 160 MS Points / $1.99 / 200 Wii Points each.

The Middle Class Rut Track Pack includes three tracks from Middle Class Rut: "Lifelong Dayshift", "New Low" and "Sad to Know". It costs 440 Microsoft Points, $5.49 or 550 Wii Points. Again, you can buy the songs as singles for 160 MS Points /$1.99 / 200 Wii Points each.

And finally the Darkest Hour Track Pack contains three tracks by Darkest Hour: "Beyond the Life You Know", "Doomsayer (The Beginning of the End)" and "Savor the Kill". It's priced as the Middle Class Rut Pack.

Activision continues to pump out DLC packs for Guitar Hero despite shutting the business early this year.

This morning Activision head of developer relations Dan Winters insisted Guitar Hero was still alive, but admitted it's "on hiatus".

"We're releasing products out of the vault - we'll continue to sustain the channel, the brand won't go away. We're just not making a new one for next year, that's all," he said.
