Ghost Recon/Ass Creed films coming?
Ubisoft wants to hear your thoughts.
Ubisoft is considering film versions of its Ghost Recon and Assassin's Creed franchises, so suggests a new customer survey from the French publisher.
The questionnaire, which was flagged up by Evil Avatar, asks those surveyed what factors would convince them to see movies based on the aforementioned series.
Possible answers include scenarios that bridge the gap between games, look at existing characters' backstories or introduce new personalities to the games' fiction.
This wouldn't be the first time Ubisoft had let Hollywood producers have their way with its IPs. Last year Jake Gyllenhaal starred in Walt Disney Picture's take on the Prince of Persia universe.

If that's not the name of a Pornographic film then it's a waste of time

In the game world no news is bad news the majority of the time I'm afraid(release date etc).
Oh and I could bet my house both of these films will be average at best.

I'd prefer Ubisoft to concentrate on making the game than seeking an opinion on making a film of them.
Ghost Recon could have lead the way as a premier shooter on all formats, instead they're playing catch-up with Acti/EA when what they had was a better product to begin with.

One step at a time Ubisoft, you're currently in a state of promising the moon and delivering a golf ball at the moment guys.

I guess Assassin's Creed could get a movie, people still lap up Dan Brown's attempts at writing.

I'd love to see a kick ass family dynamic in there.

They usually are. Although I'd really like to see what Blizzard can come up with should they try to make one. Their cutscenes are brilliant, a full length rendered movie would be interesting.

I think a Ghost Recon film could work but only if Tom Clancy was involved (it his idea after all).
If done right an Assassin's Creed film could be amazing but I think it would be difficult to pull off.

Assassin's Creed would make more sense and could be more easily adapted in to a movie. They would have to get the free running right though and make everything look super-awesomely-cool. I am reminded of Yamakasi and Banlieue 13 (or District B13).
