inFamous 2 UGC beta announced

Forthcoming PlayStation 3 superhero sequel inFamous 2 is opening up for beta testing next month, publisher Sony has announced.

PlayStation Plus members can get their hands-on the game's user-generated content features from 12th April. More information on how to sign up will be published on the PlayStation Blog shortly.

The best mission created during the beta will be handpicked by developer Sucker Punch and made available for download on or shortly after the game's full release in the Summer.

Revealed earlier this month, the game's new mission-making features give you access to the same tools used by Sucker Punch itself, supposedly allowing you to create any kind of mission you fancy, from stealth puzzles to all-out action.
