Fancy a starring role in Resistance 3?

Sony wants to see your warface.

Sony is offering fans the opportunity to get their likeness in forthcoming PlayStation 3 FPS sequel Resistance 3.

A competition launching on the official PlayStation 3 site this week will send two lucky winners on an all-expenses trip to San Diego. Once there, they'll have their faces scanned and plastered onto in-game survivors of the Chimeran onslaught by developer Insomniac Games.

After that nasty business is taken care of, the winners will get to kick back with the dev team, check out the game well in advance of regular mortals and soak up a little California sunshine.

To be in with a chance of winning, you'll need to snap a photograph of yourself looking like you've just survived an encounter with the Chimera and upload it to Sony's site. Props are welcome so feel free to bust out the Tommy K.

You'll also need to supply some accompanying blurb detailing why you deserve to be flown across the world.

The closing date is 8th March, so hop to it.
