Eurogamer.net Podcast #55

Namco Bandai edition. Plus: special prizes!

Hi there listener(s)! The Eurogamer.net Podcast is 55 episodes old today. Why not celebrate by downloading one of said episodes? And perhaps even listening to it and everything?

We recommend sir (or madam, on the off chance) samples this very latest offering:

This week, host Tom Champion is joined by news editor Wesley Yin-Poole. Also on the budget-priced mic is deputy editor Ellie Gibson, fresh (or by the sounds of things, still jetlagged) from a trip to San Francisco with our old friends Namcai Bando.

Ellie tells us about their new games, and more importantly what kind of bedding is available in Virgin Atlantic Upper Class. Then the gang discusses what hope there is for a world where no one buys games like Enslaved or Vanquish.

There's some more rowing about whether broadband is available on desert islands during this week's Sandy Island Games. In Forum Affairs we attempt to find reasons to be cheerful, and pretty much fail. The results of last week's Metabet are revealed and a brand new round kicks off.

Then it's your chance to win a very special prize. There are two prizes for grabs this week, in fact. They're actual, real, physical items, so Tom Champion will have to go to the post office to "upload" the items direct to your house. How retro.

To find out what the prizes are and how you can win them, you'll have to listen in. Sorry, there's no way around it.
