Back to the Future sets PS3 date

iPad version incoming too.

The first chunk of Telltale Games' episodic Back to the Future tie-in will arrive on the US PlayStation Network on 15th February, the developer has announced.

A precise European wasn't confirmed, but will "follow shortly thereafter".

$19.99 will get you all five episodes, though you'll only get the first one on launch day. The rest will be staggered over the subsequent four months.

Telltale also confirmed that the first episode will be available on the iPad before the end of February.

The videogame adaptation of the classic '80s Michael J Fox series scored a respectable 7/10 when it came out on PC late last year.

"A decent enough adventure game in a wonderfully-realised universe, where a little bit of corner-cutting can't ruin the pleasures of all the unlikely elements the developer gets right," wrote Eurogamer's Christian Donlan.
