    Hmmm, would still like to see some extended gameplay videos where the game isn't flaunting it's one trump card of crazy-good facial animation.

    The technology is amazing, but I would rather see an ingame gameplay movie. Because I'm fearing shallow gameplay.

    I think we all know what the gameplay will be extremely similar to GTA's.

    I don't have problem with that.

    The faces, as well animated as they are, are still within uncanny valley territory for me, especially for the main character. The blurry texture-mass that is supposedly his skin just looks plain weird.

    @StolenGlory - I would wager it's got a few other decent cards in it's hand

    @paulf - I really hope you're right; I just would like to see a little more on what else the game offers.

    @Eraysor

    yup! I didn't really get what the uncanny valley was until I saw this game. Weirds me out.

    Cartoony, more cell-shady type character models like in Enslaved etc look much less 'odd' to me. I know most people think LA Noire's faces look incredible, but I find them really weird looking...

    The thing that still bugs me about their face rendering (apart from the lighting...) is the eyes. They have that hollow lifeless look that so many games have.

    The thing that is weird is that Red Dead Redemption came really close to solving this, and in my mind John Marston had the best eyes of any game I've seen (I know they are different studios, but still...). What they did right was that sharp glint that implied intelligence, rather than dull texture maps. For example:
    LA Noire vs RDR

    Anyhoo, it's (fairly) early days still, and it may look a lot better in motion. Also.... this is just me being super picky about graphics, and I still can't wait to find out if this game is as good as I hope.

    It's not just Red Dead Redemption. Countless games have done better looking faces with much better shading. This animation technology might be nice, but everything else looks dull and lifeless. Textures are baked and horribly lit... And yeah not a single clue to what the gameplay might be like.

    I'd rather see this technology in Uncharted.

    Is this an open world game or more like Heavy Rain?
