Lara Croft's Kane & Lynch DLC out now
Plus, get 50% off Guardian of Light today.
It's lucky the bookies left the ticket on 'Most Incongruous Gaming Cameo of 2011' open to the last minute, because we have a late winner. As of today, sketchy Eidos badboys Kane and Lynch are playable in Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light.
Perhaps wisely, you won't have to pay for the dubious privilege. The DLC pack is a Christmas freebie from the Tomb Raider spin-off's developer, Crystal Dynamics.
It'll be the best game that the criminal duo appear in all year, by some margin. Their other 2010 outing, Kane & Lynch: Dog Days, was a fetid old mutt, scoring a ragged 4/10 at the hands of Eurogamer's Dan Whitehead.
Lara's top down adventure, on the other hand, was one of the last 12 month's most treasured artefacts, netting a glowing 9/10.
If you've not checked it out yet, there's no time like the present. The Xbox 360 version is marked down to just 600 Points for one day only. Make haste though – it reverts back to its original 1200 MS Point price tag come midnight.
