AC: Brotherhood update announced
Patch fixes Animus bug, Trophy issues.
A new Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood patch is on its way, promising to plug a number of game-breaking glitches.
According to Ubisoft's Facebook page, the update finally fixes a notorious bug that sees you looping endlessly between the Animus and the present, as well as a problem that prevented some PlayStation 3 users unlocking Trophies.
Here's the full list of tweaks:
Fixes (MP)
- Sometimes players may remain stuck during matchmaking (game never starts)
- In extremely rare occasions, a crash may occur if another player of the same session quits while another player is loading the map at the exact same time
- When joining a session In Manhunt, in the chased team, you may have a sound present during the entire session
Fixes (Singleplayer)
- The player may remain stuck in the present optional (2012), in a spawning loop in Monterigioni, while interacting with the Animus (Animus Bug)
- Using fast travel towards Northern Campagna may result in Ezio getting continuously desynchronized
- Sometimes a bug can occur that prevents the player from unlocking any additional Trophies (Trophy Bug)
- On rare occasion, if the player changes their outfit at the completion of a mission, they will respawn in the same world, being stuck, without any possibility of returning to Rome
No exact date has been confirmed for the update yet but apparently it's "coming very soon".

I frequently lose my sword during combat. No idea where it goes.
I lose the double Assassin blade in those Lairs of Romulus, it just becomes the single blade.
On one occasion I was given the instruction to take no damage for 100% sync, and then got twatted by a guard 0.005 seconds later.
In all honesty, Brotherhood was a good game, but in my opinion a step back from its predecessor.

Larger world, with more tangible interactions, through shops, buildings ownerships, assassin brotherhood as an extra layer of strategy management and so on. I haven't encountered any serious bugs, maybe it's less of an issue on X360?
I honestly thought the game engine would be the same for both consoles, and that the Brotherhood is a refinement of the previous engine.
Still good to release patch as game breaking bugs are the worse thing to gamers next to not having enough money or time to play the games!

Until then, shove your buggy multiplayer up your arse
Still game of the year mind, the single player mode is that good

Also fix the multiplayer so it isn't just a game of "Press X to win" with a poor counter system, game-breaking perks for high level players and a control system entirely unsuitable for a multi-player game.
