Infinity Blade makes $1.64m in 5 days

Fastest-grossing App ever?

Is Epic's iOS debut Infinity Blade the fastest-grossing App ever? With sales totalling $1.64 million in just over four days, it may well be.

Since launch the Unreal Engine-powered Infinity Blade has been downloaded 274,768 times, Apple's Game Center reveals. It costs $5.99.

The previous record for fastest-grossing App was held by Cut The Rope, which turned over $1 million in its first 10 days. However, the $0.99 title also boasted one million downloads over the same period.

Infinity Blade launched on 9th December. The third person slash 'em up was created by Shadow Complex studio Chair Entertainment.
