What looks like an early cut of the ending of the second chapter of Blizzard's real-time strategy game StarCraft II has leaked onto the internet.
The pre-visualisation video, spotted by Kotaku, is a rough cut of final cinematic of Heart of the Swarm, the second game in the StarCraft II triumvirate.
Before watching, know this: HERE BE SPOILERS.
Adding credibility to the clip is the voice acting, which matches that of Wings of Liberty, the fact that the clip's been removed from various websites on copyright claims, and the inclusion of a watermark from The Third Floor, a production company that lists Blizzard as a client and whose publicity reel includes Wings of Liberty cinematics.
"Blizzard Entertainment does not comment on rumours or speculation," was its response to the alleged leak.
Heart of the Swarm is currently without a release date, although Blizzard has hinted that it will be released in early 2012.
It delivers the zerg campaign – the second of three campaigns that make up the entire SCII experience. The first, Wings of Liberty, released in July to critical and commercial acclaim.
