New Lara Croft DLC hits XBL
Plus, Doritos Crash Course!
A third DLC pack for Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light heads up a bunch of new content arriving on Xbox Live Arcade today.
Titled A Hazardous Reunion, it offers "Four new challenge maps featuring mind-boggling puzzles, waves of intense combat action, and a fiery reunion with an old friend." You'll need to scrape together 400 MS Points to discover the identity of said chum.
Bomberman Live: Battlefest also goes public, costing 800 MS Points, alongside new Marvel-themed tables for Pinball FX 2 (also 800 MS Points) and the Grubbins on Ice Costume Quest expansion (400 MS Points).
Of course, what with Christmas approaching you might be all out of cash. Don't despair though, Microsoft has your back. Two free games are up for download too: Harms Way and Doritos Crash Course.
They're the two finalists of the annual Doritos Xbox Unlock game design contest.
Harms Way is a "fast paced, action packed race where both drivers and snipers need to team up to win the race. As the sniper, you need to blow-up the competition. As a driver you need to finish three laps first."
Doritos Crash Course, on the other hand, is "a fast-paced, funny, obstacle course game show for your Avatar to compete against your friends and family over Xbox Live."
Both titles have Achievements up for grabs, should you be into that sort of thing.
Once you've played them both, you can then vote for which one you think was best. Do take it seriously - the winner scoops a $50,000 game consulting gig with Doritos.

the controls can be changed,to either inverted or even right or left stick aiming...i guess its the turret controls you mean,as the car controls are the usual RT to accelerate etc
i am having more fun with Harms Way,but online seems to be broke at the moment,no games found when doing a search so everyone on 360achievements.org are inviting each other to their games
FWIW-i also got the Marvel Pinball FX2 tables today which are a good blast
its been a good day on XBLA

EVEN greater is that there is luxury of choice for gamers with TWO free games that are both fun in different ways, traditional karting type of game or Trials Wipeout competitive game.
Both are MEANT to be played competitively, online or locally, with friends or family, what a great Xmas gifts from MS for the festive season!
Well done MS for doing something very meaningful.
