    The sad thing is too, is that 40K should have dibs on the GoW experience. Epic just got there first.

    I wouldn't necessarily mind a 'great' W40K Gears clone (although watching the Dev diaries this won't be a full clone as they've removed snap-to-cover).

    @Buenos_Estente: +1 I couldn't agree more. I've enjoyed my W40K gaming through Dawn of War 1 & 2 but have been holding out for something like this or a modern version of the old Space Hulk games - Terminators on overwatch FTW! :)

    But why, oh why does it have to be the Ultramarines? Dark Angels would have been my personal preference, far more character and background.

    They're unlikely to actually do something on the dark and adult old fluff. It'll just be the modern GW policy of kiddy friendly marines. Boo!

    Its not a 'roleplayer' (more an action game with a few light RPG trappings if anything) and Im sure I've seen those screens before...

    @Zephro - GW has gone back to some of the darker stuff of late. Not quite the glory of the old Rogue Trader violence, but its much darker than it was about 10 years ago. Space Marine (the game, that is) looks like it should be a lot of fun. I loved Relic's work with the Dawn of War series because of how good the atmosphere was; if they can recapture that with Space Marine I'm sold.

    looks pretty! I reckon it will play much differently to Gears, and it looks like they got the action down to a tee!

    Just hope its not a 6/10 game
