Street legal Tron bike costs £32k

Brake before you hit the end of line.

There is a street legal Tron bike and it costs £32,000 to buy.

Unfortunately, it doesn't do 90 degree turns in the blink of an eye or protrude neon light as it speeds along a virtual grid.

But it will help you get to work in the morning. Well, maybe not this morning, given the snow. But most mornings.

This replica, which you can see in the video below, is a street legal construction by the Florida-based bike shop Parker Brothers Choppers. Four remain, and one can be yours for $55,000 (thanks, Joystiq).

It weighs 474 pounds, is over 100" long and 23" wide, and features a steel frame, fiberglass bodywork and a V-twin engine from a Suzuki TLR1000.

You could, if you were so inclined, play Disney Interactive's Tron: Evolution while sat on a replica Tron bike. Dan Whitehead returned from the virtual world with a 7/10 in Eurogamer's Tron: Evolution review.
