This game's looking really good i must say. Was looking forward to it a while ago then it disappeared off the radar for a while! Glad to see it has a more firm release now :) Looks like it could be quite a different game to what we have at the moment which is always good!

Well it definitely looks nice, but we all know they can only get this stylized in cutscenes, and I was actually hoping we'd get less of them. For all the rave reviewers have been dishing out about GTAs cinematography, I find their cutscenes to be too long and utilising every hamfisted cliche or stereotype in the actors. Then afterwards you get a neat little prompt that tells you what your mission objective is, summarizing the previous event in one line, thereby making it seem even more inconsequential what just happened.

Those claims of defeating the 'uncanny valley' turned out to be vastly overexaggerated then...

When were these claims made again? I personally dont remember them, but I cant be arsed to google it either. Anyway, the game looks pretty good from these screens (as good as a game can look from still images, anyway), and I always welcome new experiences in a game, and playing a detective seems a perfect cerebral tonic to all those "gangsta" games out there. Looking forward to it.

Nowhere near uncanny valley levels. In fact where they've tried and not succeeded I think it looks a bit weird. Not necessarily bad but weird.

Games are looking more and more like hollywood movies. Tons of sripted events and now we are seeing hollywood actors on, not voice acting, but acting. Dont get me wrong. I am escited about this game, but wouldnt it be easier/cheaper to just make a movie?
