EA launching Facebook golf game

Real-time play, micro-transactions, etc.

EA plans to bring its licensed golf series to Facebook soon, but don't go locking up your cocktail waitresses just yet because Tiger Woods is nowhere in sight – instead we're told to expect a game called EA Sports PGA Tour Golf Challenge.

Due out this winter, Golf Challenge uses a one-click swing system and mouse or keyboard aiming and has you playing through rounds to earn XP and level up, unlocking real-world golf courses in the process.

It features daily challenges and promises to crown weekly champions, while impatient players can fork over cash in micro-transactions that "customise and accelerate a player's career". That old chestnut.

Golf Challenge has been developed by EA Sports Tiburon and is the third such Facebook sports game from EA in recent months. The other two were FIFA Superstars and Madden NFL Superstars, both of which are doing brisk business according to EA – FIFA claims over 3.7 million monthly users while Madden apparently has more than two million.

If its anything like the normal EA Tiger Woods game, it will take you 30 hours of game play just to get enough points to earn a decent set of irons.

And Tiger Woods and facebook probably aren't a good match, he had enough trouble keeping his secrets from the world just on his mobile phone . . .

I agree with you but from my personal experience, it bought 4000 Facebook fans from http://www.socialkik.com and they added them to my page in a little over 1 month. All the fans appeared to be real and some of them turned out to be great customers.
You should use http://www.socialkik.com to buy Facebook fans... we purchased 10,000 Facebook fans and we're quite satisfied with the results. It's completely legal because the fans are real and they don't join your page until they check it and find it interestings. Socialkik.com keeps sending suggestions to become a fan until the order is fulfilled.
