Late kick-off for PSP's FM2011

Footie sim gets a new date.

The PSP version of SEGA's Football Manager 2011 will launch on 26th November.

The game had previously been slated for a 5th November release, which it obviously missed.

The PC version of SEGA's beloved timesink, which did make its published launch date, scored a 9/10 from Eurogamer's Martin Korda earlier this month.

This year's iteration adds a number of tweaks to the well-worn FM formula, including real-time contract negotiations, a revamped training system and a new 'match preparation' area.

Jay-ITFC - FMH 2011 for iPhone is in development but the release date will not be 26 November. The latest word from Miles Jacobson is...

"Football Manager Handheld 2011 is in development for iPod/iPhone, and we are planning to get it finished in time for a Xmas release. Please note that unlike PC & PSP games, we aren’t able to set a release date for the game at any time, so it will appear when it appears, but as it’s still in development, it will be available some time after the PSP release."

Can anyone tell me how this compares to the PC version? I love the idea of being able to manage my team while i'm out on a bus or something. I certainly prefer that to just sitting indoors with a laptop not doing anything so I think i'd play it more. Is it anywhere near as full an experience as the PC version though? Is it worth bothering basically.
