The 7th Guest iPhone/iPad port in Dec
FMV FTW!
Infamous early nineties CD-ROM game The 7th Guest will pop up on the App store in December, original creator Trilobyte Games has announced.
The iPhone/iPod Touch and iPad port will be the original in its entirety with reworked touch screen controls and a revamped UI, according to Touch Arcade.
What is 7th Guest? It was one of the first CD-ROM games and, along with the seminal Myst, helped usher in a new era of videogames packed with full motion video.
Published by Virgin Games, 7th Guest was packed with puzzles players had to solve as they explored a creepy mansion. Moneybags Bill Gates called it "the new standard in interactive entertainment".

On a side note, will it be based on the PC or CDi version? The latter was better-looking but also had less puzzles (albeit, admittedly, they removed the most annoying ones).

Loved it. I'll have to steal my wife's iPad to play it.

+1. Love that track "The game"
I remember playing this on PC when it first came out, and it was 'Teh future'. Amazing graphics for its time, and a really creepy atmosphere. Well up for saying hello to this again.

I also spent an entire summer once converting it to a text adventure written in BASIC.
