Killzone 3: Helghast Edition revealed

Includes helmet, figurine, kitchen sink.

Killzone 3 is set to get the mother of all special editions, publisher Sony has revealed.

The forthcoming shooter's Helghast Edition includes a replica Helghast helmet, a Cloaking Helghast Marksman action figure, bonus behind the scenes video content and that time-honoured special edition perennial: an exclusive art book.

You'll also get a Super Voucher, which offers access to the game's soundtrack, a PlayStation 3 Dynamic Theme, a retro map pack featuring locales from Killzone 2, and double XP and full access to all weapons for the first 24 hours of multiplayer gameplay.

The rub? Well, Sony isn't exactly giving them away. There's no UK release confirmed for the set yet, but US gamers will have to fork over an eye-watering $129.99 when the game launches on 22nd February 2011.

For those a little less flush, there are a number of other pre-order packages doing the rounds for those who want to get in on the exclusive content goodness.

Amazon is offering a PSN code for three Unlock Points to use on the weapon or ability of your choice, as well as the retro map pack.

Best Buy has a PSN code for 24 hours of double XP and the same map pack.

For 24 hours of multiplayer with all weapons and abilities unlocked, US gamers will need to hit up GameStop. The retro map pack is bundled in there as well.
