Squeenix quiet on EU 3rd Birthday date
Announcement promised "soon".
Square Enix has promised to announce European release dates for PSP game The 3rd Birthday and console actioner Mindjack "soon".
Last night Square Enix announced that both games would be coming to the West at some point during the first three months of 2011 - but that only applies to North America.
"Forthcoming release dates will be issued at an appropriate time based upon our release schedule," Square Enix Europe told Eurogamer.
"Please look out for future announcements regarding releases soon."
The 3rd Birthday is a PSP shooter that marks a "new start" for the Parasite Eve series.
It features a female lead character whose clothes rip off as she fights horrible beasties.
The original Parasite Eve, released for PSOne in 1998, was a survival horror role-playing game that did rather well. The 3rd Birthday is due out in Japan on 22nd December.
Mindjack, on the other hand, is a PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 third-person online action shooter from Blue Dragon Plus creator feelplus.
Players will be able to hack into the brains of enemies, vehicles and civilians to take control of them and do some fighting in cover-based shooter environments.
It had been due out in October. Now, it'll be Square Enix's first console release of 2011.
