Choose either game, or pick up both.

The God of War Collection will be available in the PlayStation Store from 3rd November, Sony has announced.

The pack, which incorporates HD revamps of the first two God of War titles, will set you back Ł23.99 (€29.99). Or if you thought that, say, the first one was a bit duff, you can buy them individually for Ł13.99 (€17.99) a pop.

You'd do well to open your wallets if you neglected to pick up the full disc release back in April. Eurogamer's Kristan Reed awarded the PlayStation 3 compilation a heavenly 9/10.

If you're after a brand new Kratos adventure, you'll have to wait for God of War: Ghost of Sparta on the PSP. It's out on 2nd November in the US, but Sony hasn't confirmed a European date yet.

Excellent games, but a bit ridiculous on the pricing as always. Ł13.99 for each game yet the disc version which has both games is Ł16.99 on Play.com. Here's the link -

EU version is censored - man in cage (the one you burn alive in GoW1) is replaced by undead. So, you all better off buying US or Asian disk versions.

Nonsense. The original EU PS2 version of GOW had a human which you had to burn and the EU PS3 collection is no different. Anyway, I doubt that is even remotely relevent when your dicussing a game of this calibre. I don't think anybody will care whether you burn a man or a zombie in what is a 1 minute part when your spending most of your time beating the living shit out of every single thing standing in your way.

Might be able to find the disc version cheaper but still great bang for ya buck at Ł23.99, i actually know some people who would rather have it downloaded than on disc, issue of space being the reason.

Human/ Undead, who cares? I wasnt sure when I bought the disc if I could enjoy PS2 games (missed em first time around). These play better than most games this generation.

My apologies. I imported God of War on release for the HD mode and did the same with the PS3 collection because I didn't want to wait forever. Either way, its an insignificant alteration. Anyone who hasn't played it, go out and buy it sharpish!

Yep, 16.99 of your finest British pounds on Amazon.co.uk ( http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003F... ). This is the sole reason I don't like downloads - the prices are always inflated - otherwise I do like the convenience.
