2002 Unlimited Match arrives next month.

King of Fighters 2002 Unlimited Match arrives on Xbox Live Arcade on 3rd November, developer SNK has announced.

According to SNK's Facebook page, it will be a combination of the original arcade version and its PlayStation 2 counterpart.

Match balance, characters stats and move quality are taken from the arcade version. Menus, the number of playable characters and game modes follow the PlayStation 2 port. Expect 66 fighters in all.

The game will set you back 800 Points (Ł6.80 / €9.60).

Hopefully the netcode will be as decent as Neo Geo Battle Colosseum. Hopefully SNK can continue their streak of Minimum competency

2002 Unlimited Match is STILL a massive hit...in Japan, well balanced and much fanservice for the KoF crowd. I can't wait for this.

They really need to bring the games with HD and hopefully improved animation - recently played Fatal Fury, Samurai Showdown on XBLive and they seemed so dated and ugly. They should see how MvC 2, SF II was improved by HD and improve on that (animation), or it will look dated and very jerky to play!...Look forward to the much improved KOF XIII full game release (If they do it!), and forget the lazyness of KOF XII.

You mean the same KOF XIII that shipped with massive bugs and at four characters having easy infinities and had arcade operators literally yelling at SNK for a version update before furious players started abandoning it?
