MODOK and Magneto for MVC3

Ink readable.

Hot on the heels of Capcom confirming Sir Arthur and Nathan Spencer for Marvel vs. Capcom 3 comes word of two more: MODOK and Magneto.

MODOK (Mental Organism Designed Only For Killing) is a giant head encased in a robotic helmet that has sprouted little robo-arms and legs. He's evil, and he first appeared in Marvel's Tales of Suspense comic back in the sixties.

Magento, on the other hand, has been portrayed much more recently by Sir Gandalf McKellen in the X-Men films. He gets on well with most metals, and can sling objects like cars around on a whim. He can also float, which is impressive for onlookers.

MODOK and Magneto join a burgeoning cast of fighters in Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds. Eurogamer talked to MVC3 producer Ryota Niitsuma on Friday about the state of the fighting genre and much, much more.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds launches on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 early next year.
