New Ferrari game cheaper for loyal fans

Today's PSN release follows Ferrari Challenge.

Eutechnyx's new PSN racer Ferrari The Race Experience will be cheaper for anyone who owns the studio's previous prancing horse simulator, Ferrari Challenge Trofeo Pirelli, on PS3.

Ferrari The Race Experience is released on PSN today, and will cost £11.99 / €14.99 - discounted to £9.99 / €12.99 for Ferrari Challenge owners.

Going by the PlayStation Blog, the new game expands Ferrari Challenge's range from its single-minded focus on the F430 Challenge race car to a suite of race, classic and road cars, including the new 458 Italia and the 599XX.

Tracks include a Riviera street circuit and Ferrari's test track at Fiorano, and there's a Career mode walking you through the three disciplines.

We found Ferrari Challenge "a promising physics engine welded to a game that may be a little too anal for its own good" and awarded it 7/10 on its release two years ago, so this expanded download sequel could be worth checking out.
