Get DJ Hero free with DJ Hero 2

Spend either £90 or £150 to qualify.

Activision is giving away a copy of DJ Hero 1 to anybody that buys the DJ Hero 2 Party or Turntable bundles.

The Turntable bundle is the cheaper option at £90, and includes both games plus a turntable peripheral.

The Party bundle costs a whopping £150, but has two turntables and the two games.

Stocks are limited, apparently, so this deal won't last forever.

DJ Hero 2 will be released on 22nd October.

Good deal, you at least get one game with a good tracklist when you fork out £90.

I dislike the game, but even i'm tempted at that price. Excellent deal.

more plastic peripherals?!? Yes please Activision! I have been clamouring for more cheap crap for ages!!

I wonder how companies still can convince retailers to store these kind of products, when they don't relaly seem to sell anymore. Surely they must be tired of this crap by now. Last time i went to the usual store, they had a bunch of DJ Hero Renegade Edition copies for a paltry 39€ (they launched for €199). And nobody was buying them. Nevermind the usual Rock Band full kits for 60€ or so, they always have at least a couple laying around.

Shopto £78 has my preorder, seems like a pretty damn good deal. Never played the first but was meaning to pick it up cheap, this works out pretty well.

  • Waffleaber #9 2 years ago

As chrisjm says you can pick up the original DJ Hero including decks for under £30 on the high street so you'll save at least £20 buying them seperatly.

Can a gamer who doesn't like dance music enjoy DJ hero?
  • pinkio #11 2 years ago

@Gromit........ Most definately, yes! I am an extremely ancient gamer/guitarist who hates dance music but had a real blast playing DJ hero. More fun than guitar hero in my opinion!

    Spot the plant.

I'm still "Meh". I don't get music games. I love music. I love playing instruments. I've never been terribly convinced at the games though... Zelda not withstanding but that isn't technically a music game... really.

One way to stop the 2nd hand market.
