Finally, an official playable version of Black Isle's cherished RPG Planescape: Torment has arrived.
GOG.com is doing the honours and is asking $10 for the privilege. It's compatible with all operating systems and isn't stymied by any DRM.
Planescape: Torment revolves around The Nameless One - a mysterious and scarred hero who cannot be killed but who has forgotten his past. Your journey gradually pieces together the tale that many consider the best ever told in a game.
Dungeons & Dragons rules underpin the adventure, and your hero can follow a magical or physical path depending on what you fancy.
Planescape: Torment was released in 1999. The game was developed by Black Isle Studios (now Obsidian Entertainment, more or less) and was published by Atari.
Luckily, Eurogamer existed back then, and so we've ransacked the vaults for our dusty Planescape: Torment review. Gestalt wrote it. I bet most of you don't know who that is.
