New SSFIV costumes coming

For all 35 characters.

Capcom will sell new costumes for all 35 characters in fighting game Super Street Fighter IV starting next month.

The new costumes will be released in a series of downloadable content packs, as was the case with previous alternative costumes.

The first will go on sale on 26th October. Expect new threads and a few nods to original designs. Chun Li, for example, will get her original Street Fighter Alpha costume.

Pricing is yet to be announced. Pics showcasing the new costumes are below.

    T Hawk looks like a GOD.

    Paying for costumes is a gyp, come on Capcom, chuck an extra character or two in the pack with the costumes to make it worth spending money on.

    See above.

    However, Cat-Woman styled Cammy? >_>;
    /keeps a beedy eye out for that release.

    Hmm, tbh, I'd rather know how and when Capcom are planning to bring the new arcade characters to the home versions (Yun/Yang, etc.). DLC or Super Streetfighter IV EX GotY Edition Turbo?

    The thing is, if they add characters to DLC, it would split the community. Hence the reason all characters are unlocked from the beginning also.

    I would agree the costume packs are way too expensive though. I would maybe buy one individual costume if it were available cheaply, and I bet Cappers would make much more money this way.

    "Hey Street Fighter fans! Did you buy Super Street Fighter 4 so you could play the same game you bought last year with a few extra characters and modes? Then you'll love forking out more money for slight cosmetic changes!!!"

    Chun Li in the Alpha series wears leggings.
    Why would I pay money to 'not' see Chun Li's panties?

    They won't bring it to PC but perfectly happy making money ripping people off with costumes. This industry is real trouble.

    I ain't paying for anymore costumes.This industry is bleeding us dry.Cocks

    Catwoman Cammy is very hard to resist! If this isn't on-disc stuff I may be tempted, if it's an unlock code: No way josé. Haven't paid for any unlock codes ever and I don't plan to start, that is just wrong.

    @kinky_mong

    SSIV is much better than SFIV though. Its a big difference imo.

    Just don't buy them then, sillies. Cammy's looks pretty awesome, but I sure as hell won't be paying out for them. They add nowt to the game anyway.

    No it wouldn't. There would be a mandatory update to the game, adding the new characters for everyone. However, only those who pay for them can use them, those that don't can only play against them online. Simple. :)

    PRICE = WAY TOO EXPENSIVE.

    No one is forced to buy any of these costumes - they're like those avatar things on xbl or psn. Doesn't change the gameplay in anyway. Pure fan service for those who want it.

    Also: Capcom has stated that SSF4 is the last of the SF4 iteration. There will NOT be another edition of the game. They have stated that DLC is on the cards - which will be the arcade edition characters. It will work - just like BlazBlue and SF4 Vanilla when you fought people who had unlocked characters you hadn't or vice versa.

    Many of you are not aware of the SF community: these updates aren't Capcom milking gamers dry; these updates are a result of the SF Community BEGGING (yes BEGGING) Capcom for these additions and changes. Sign up to Yoshi Ono Chan's twitter and you will see what I mean.

    Capcom has simply been the best company in recent years to deliver fan service. With MvC3, SF3:3S Online and Street Fighter X Tekken, it really is ccoming around to another golden age of street fighting.
