Two Worlds II dated in mainland Europe

Zuxxez for the continent.

The mainland European release of Two Worlds II will happen on 21st October, publisher Zuxxez announced today.

Many had expected the role-playing game on 28th September, although Zuxxez told Eurogamer Germany that date was Amazon's and never official.

Zuxxez has no say on what happens in the UK: SouthPeak calls the shots here. And SouthPeak will only commit to a "TBC" date for Two Worlds II, as reported yesterday.

Two Worlds II is developed by Polish studio Reality Pump for PC, Mac, PS3 and Xbox 360.

Isn't this right around the same time as Fallout: New Vegas? Even if Two Worlds II is vastly improved over the first one (and it certainly better be), I think I'll have a hard time fitting two large RPGs into my schedule within the same week or two - and Fallout definitely has main priority here.

You forgot Gothic 4 is also out on the 12th.

Doesn't matter how much you polish it, a turd is still a turd.

Ok, a bit later than expected. But I'm happy that it's coming out at all, considering the recent news surrounding this game.

Ahem. I have my doubts about quality of this product, really.

October is a busy month for releases. This, New Vegas, Enslaved, Castlevania, The Force Unleashed 2, Fable 3 have all caught my eye but who will get my cash.

May end up picking this up in the new year, I loved the first one. So many flaws but underneath is was pretty good fun :).

Previews I've seen so far suggest that this might actually be pretty good. Won't be buying it blindly, but to write it off seems a little premature.

Hmm I found the first game had shocking graphics, questlines and voice acting but had some sort of quality that meant I played it for around 30 hrs or so (couldn't tell you what though). And that was on the back of 180 oblivion hours!

From the pictures it seems like they have improved the graphics, not sure about gameplay, quests or the voice acting however having not played any high fantasy rpg for a few years it may be a pc purchase for me, doubtful day one purchase though, I think I'll let some real world reviews filter through first.

    The first was absoloutely diabolical.

Nah. The PC version was alright, and it had a few neat ideas. Sold pretty well, too.

I managed 10 minutes on the firsts demo and couldn't stand it after Oblivion, despite really wanting it to be good. I hope they do better with this one though, will be waiting for reviews though, could really do with something to keep me busy until the net TES.

Really enjoyed the first one (played on PC with patch 1.6 mind), so hopeful this will be good too. October is certainly an interesting RPG month with Gothic 4 and Fallout arriving too - I'd wonder whether Gothic 4 will be the buggy one this time, given it's new devs etc. I expect I'll give them all a go, really yearning for a good RPG now

    @immateriaux

'This time'? I had to turn Gothic 3 off 20 minutes in because it was far and beyond the most buggy game I had ever played. Units not attacking, units not moving, skills not working, quests not working, and a BSoD all in a 20 minute time frame.
