Gary Oldman and Ed Harris in Black Ops
Batman writer David S. Goyer helping, too.
Hollywood actors Gary Oldman and Ed Harris have done voice over work for upcoming shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops, Activision's confirmed.
Gary "the bad guy out of Leon" Oldman reprises his role as Viktor Reznov from Call of Duty: World at War.
Ed "the bad guy out of The Rock" Harris plays one of the game's main characters, CIA operative Jason Hudson.
The duo are joined by Batman: Dark Knight and Batman Begins writer David S. Goyer, who's come on board to provide script consultation and story development support.
"Oldman, Harris and Goyer are considered some of Hollywood's finest talents and they perfectly complement Call of Duty: Black Ops' ambitious and immersive single player experience," said Treyarch studio head Mark Lamia.
"Their contributions have helped us to push the boundaries of our story telling and character development far beyond anything we have ever attempted before in the franchise."
Call of Duty: Black Ops is due out on 9th November. It'll probably be a big deal.

@Huxamalay
Correct it doesn't - but when you add tight controls, a great game engine, good co-op, multiplayer to good actors and writers, chances are it's going to be a good game. Genuinely looking forward to this now.

This is just an announcement that they are in the game not that they have just joined the project. They will have already done there parts for the game. They don't just announce everything straight away, they announce them closer to the release date so to make people more excited about the game.

Treyarch are no mugs. Like every other top game developers they know what the gaming community are saying and trying their best to bring new stuff based on fan feedback.
Never really been into COD MP, only the SP. But Black Ops MP looking really good.

...a bit far stretched? A 12 year old could write a better plot.

Yes, but he's a damn fine voice actor as well. I don't think he's repeated the same vocal inflections for any of the characters I've seen him as at the moving picture theatre

good choices, i assume they wont be slurring their words like mr.24? ;P
Anyway, as good as it is to get these big names in games i think the money is always better spent developing an actual aspect of the game play.
