Puzzle Quest 2 for PSP this year

Download via PlayStation Store.

Infinite Interactive has announced that it plans to release Puzzle Quest 2 for PSP "towards the end of 2010 for download via the PlayStation Store".

The PSP version promises all the original release's content plus a new Elite Mode "where the battles will be tougher and the rewards far greater".

Puzzle Quest 2 was released in June for Xbox Live Arcade and DS. We thought it was "supremely effective rather than genuinely brilliant" and gave it 7/10.

You can see how the game begins on Xbox 360 by watching the first 15 minutes below. ENGULF.

Toil and trouble.

No comments?!!!! NO comments?!!!! This is fantastic news. Even though I will have rinsed the DS version by then this is an insta buy for me. I considered the psp version of PQ1 the best of all the platforms. Superb!

Aye, the PSN EU PQ release was topper, most of the significant bugs fixed.

I'm a bit of a PSP eejit, having only played GoW and a bit of that game where you roll about the place (maybe Pattapon 2?).
Anyway, I'd quite like another game, but it seems that it's for the PSP Go only. Or can I d/l stuff for an ordinary PSP.

Sorry if that sounds/is really stupid, but I'm genuinely that dense when it comes to my PSP.

EDIT: rapidly corrects typos so as not to look even dumber.

    @ PoundHound

You can download stuff for all PSPs, provided you've got a memory stick in it.

This is great news. Puzzle Quest has probably been the most ideal game to have handy on my memory stick. The sequel will be most welcome. I had better hurry up and finish the original!
