    Every new screenshot makes me think this games going to be more and more mind boggling. And i love it for that!

    Valve? Releasing proper screenshots? Announcing a release date? Showing gameplay footage? What is this?

    The graphics on a close up are sharp but you don't have a good
    feelling of the environment in the far distance. The graphic engine
    uses a fog effect that covers distance objects. This mist effect isn't
    very nice or is there a graphic engine limitation that forces the game
    to use such a technique of reduced drawing distance ? To be fair
    maybe Valve should give an explanaition on the technology their
    game engine is using.

    Epic ROFL at worlds best game developer having to explain why they implement certain visual features on worlds best game engine.

    quality......anything valve make is the bollox! HL2 was just the best single player game i've ever experienced, nothing comes close....well, apart from the episodes!

    Portal was a nice suprise I didn't see coming and thoroughly enjoyed, but it was just a rather excellent polished mod, rather than an epic game... Portal obviously made Valve realise what it had on it's hands.....potentially one of the best games ever created.

    We will have to wait and see if they have!

    In order to keep the suprise of playing this I have to stop looking at screens/videos.

    But i'm aching so badly for it i can't help myself!
