In fact it's out tomorrow, strat fans.

A playable demo of new real-time strategy game R.U.S.E. is due to arrive for PC tomorrow.

That's according to online adverts for the game, as spotted by BigDownload. They give a demo release date of Wednesday 25th August. There's no word on exactly which bits you'll get to try out, though.

For those who aren't familiar, R.U.S.E. is an RTS with a World War II theme. It's in development for PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 and will be released in Europe on 10th September.

Yes!Can't see Starcraft as anything more than a past decade RTS.This is more like it!

Whats with the SC2 stuff, that was released ages ago... some of us can afford more than one strategy/game over a few months you know

Saw some videos last night, looked interesting... not sure yet, but a demo would be helpful.

Looking forward to another crack at this - played the beta, but was not really committed to it at the time due to not being comfortable with supporting Ubisoft's annoying DRM.
And from what I've played of both, RUSE is a very different animal to Starcraft II - there's room for more than one RTS title in the space of a few months, as already pointed out.

All those that are bitching about DRM, need not worry its not in RUSE. But instead steamworks is.
